Since the main product of eco-tourism and eco-lodges are the natural environment, sustainable development, and enhancement of environmental aspects of the site could be the non-zero-sum game solution. Therefore by investigating the environmental issues, traditional architecture, and local culture and heritage, this project seeks to propose a solution for future environmental development and to address the familiar spatial experience in a sustainable and comfortable structure that has minimal environmental impacts which try to connect visually, functionally and emotionally to its context.
Inspired by the local oasis, which described as the diamond in the heart of the harsh desertic region, the design offers dual perception form itself. The external forms integrate with the landscape through the transparent tent, allowing the quicksand to go across and burying it in small dunes, while the internal suggest a different spatial and comfortable experience.
Using innovative material to meet the sustainability needs of the design combined with pre-fabricated and manufactured structures that will be carried and assembled to its location, among its unique form, that is not completely a tent nor a building, causing the architecture in its common sense to disappear, and underline the spatial experience and its perceptions.
